Our vision is to promote and develop a culture for lifelong learning in the District that enables everyone to access learning opportunities that are high quality, locally accessible and will meet their needs and aspirations.

In enhancing lifelong learning the Community Partnership aims to:

• Improve access to learning opportunities
  
  
• Raise the level of basic literacy, numeracy and ICT skills
  
  
• Improve skills training for businesses
  

Our Lifelong Learning Action Plan tackles these key priorities in partnership with other Community Partnership Theme Groups, in particular Business and Leisure and Culture.
